We have been dog owners for many years. Our first dog was a Rottweiler. I wanted a protector for my wife and three daughters, because at that time I was going on many business trips. We decided at that time any dog we owned was part of the family. To never be chained up in the yard, but to be tightly integrated in the family.

He always stayed in the house with us. He went every place with us. I was amazed to see just how large a vocabulary a dog can acquire, when they are with you that close. When he passed at 13 ½, we were heart broken. We were without a dog in the family for about 4 years.
