International Dog Show, (IABCA) - Richfield, WA

First International Dog Show, IABCA held in Richfield, WA, March 10th and 11th. Each day there were 2 shows, plus on Saturday, there was an additional Express Show. Benny was entered into the Bred By Exhibitor Senior Puppy Class. Angus was entered in the Senior Pupply Class. Both boys did very well at this show.

First show on Saturday, Angus took his class and took Group 1 Senior Puppy Hound. He was supposed to go into the Best in Show ring for the first show, but the Ring Stewart messed up and put my number in. So Doug and Angus was not able to show, even though we showed the show organizers that Angus had won the Senior Puppy Hound group.

Second Show on Saturday, Benny took his class and took Group 1 Bred By Exhibitor Senior Puppy. Benny took Reserve Best in Show.

In the Express Show on Saturday, both Angus and Benny won their classes

Third show on Sunday, both Angus and Benny took their classes and both got Group 1 for their respective Hound Group. Angus did not place in the Best in Show Ring. Benny took Reserve Best in Show.

Forth show on Sunday, both puppies took their classes and Benny got Group 1 in the Bred By Exhibitor Senior Puppy Class Hound Group. Benny took Best in Show in the Best in Show ring.

Benny and I went into a special competition where all dogs that took Best In Show competed against each other. By that time Benny was done and we did not place

This was a very intensive show to attend. On Saturday, Benny was in the show ring 7 times. On Sunday, Benny was in the show ring 9 times.

Both boys did exceptionally well, considering they were puppies and both days were 12 hour days
